Red Cross & Red Crescent’s Community Based Health and First Aid volunteers at the front in the fight against COVID-19In the 154 countries with an existing CBHFA programme, COVID-19 responses are well-coordinated because there is already an existing workforce of volunteers at the community level. As COVID-19 is a disease transmitted at the community level, CBHFA volunteers are on the front lines at the community level where they live, work and play, teaching community members necessary content using behaviour change methods as the pandemic evolves, ensuring that the response is appropriate for their community.
In this webinar, CBHFA volunteers will be able to:
- Share their experiences and challenges in the COVID-19 response
- Learn about innovative approaches implemented by CBHFA volunteers around the world
